The latest StarCraft 2 expansion, 'Heart of the Swarm' releases this month and we’re throwing a special LAN Party in its honor. Join us Saturday, March 16th at 2:00pm for 12 hours of StarCraft 2 goodness as we play
team games, custom games, monobattles and hold a 1v1 tournament.
Meet other local StarCraft 2 players as you play the game, eat pizza, drink pop and have a great time!
Our street team will be visiting local HotS midnight releases handing out business cards for the group and meeting new players. Expect this to be our biggest LAN Party ever! Be sure to register online if you’re coming. We’re limiting the party to 50 participants. Pay online when you register to guarantee a spot or show up at the door and hope for the best. We’ll be keeping a count of Paid, Pending, and Open spots here so you know how many people plan to show up.
Register now!Tournament:There will be a $30, winner takes all, grand prize for the 1v1 Heart of the Swarm tournament.
The format will be a Best-f-3 (Bo3) double elimination bracket with random seeds.
While participating in the tournament, players will be asked to not play any non-tournament related games (e.g. ladder) while waiting. This will greatly increase the speed at which we can finish the tournament. As players get knocked out, they're more than welcome to participate in the other LAN festivities or ladder.
Raffle:We’ll be raffling off $100 worth of gift cards to BestBuy, a
Razer StarCraft II Spectre gaming mouse and more!
There will be one(1) $50 Gift Card prize and two(2) separate $25 gift card prizes.
Participants must be present to win and may only win one(1) of the gift cards.
The raffle will take place around 10pm.
The winner of the tournament will NOT be excluded from the raffle.
